In other news, school is kicking my ass. Last semester was really easy, so I thought I'd have no problem with an 18 hour credit load, one of which was a studio art course, just for fun. But studying engineering and having free time were never meant to be, so sadly I had to drop my jewelry class today. But now classes are (hopefully) kicking my ass less now, and tomorrow I will hopefully get a FEESH! FINALLY!


I've wanted a betta fish for a while now, and last week I got a fish tank super cheap at Walgreens. I went expecting ridiculously discounted chocolates, and I got a fish tank! (and ridiculously discounted chocolates, woot)
So that's my latest adventure. Now I just have to stop failing and actually concentrate when I'm studying. Which is hard. So it goes.

I know the commenting thing is broken or weird or something, but tell me some good fish names! So far I have come up with all sushi themed names; Sushi, Sashimi, Maki, Toro, Nigiri, Fugu, Maguro, Sake, and then there is Feesh, and Toona, haha.

Guess what?

California Dreamin

After trudging through the bitter sub-zero temperatures to and from class today, and then huddling in layers in my dorm room (the heaters have chosen this convenient time to be barely functional) I found a forgotten issue of Car and Driver to leaf through before class. And suddenly, I was captivated:

It's the new Ferrari California, and it's easy to see why a great looking roadster with such a sunny name would be so instantly appealing to my cold self.

I then proceeded to read the article, in which they were rather harsh on it, especially the styling and it's 'bootylicious' back end . Ah well, I'm still a fan. And there is a reason for the fat rear..

Retractable hard top convertible, great styling, Ferrari handling, and 0-60 in 3.8 seconds. I think I'm in love*.

It is so choice. If you have the means, I highly recommend picking one up.

And a sticker price of around $200,000. This is why I should not like this car.

Well there was my mental sunshine for the day, hopefully things get warmer from here.

*Don't worry Eric, I like you more than any car
